Emily Moreno

Studying Dance/ Movement Therapist at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.

I have been in a clinical setting, studying and interning throughout New York City and New Jersey metropolitan area.

I graduated from Wagner College, and in my undergraduate studies I discovered the potential for social/emotional autonomy and nervous system regulation through movement which served as the building blocks for my desire to utilize movement from a clinical perspective.

Through my studies and experiences I find that knowledge of self is constantly evolving and environment is constantly shifting within our lives. With these organic shifts, different mental health needs can arise.

If you are sensing yourself negatively affected by anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, distress over relationships or even community, national and world events I am here to help you navigate your relationship to your emotions throughout.

Let’s explore questions like:

How can I, with the support of my community, optimize the health of my body/ mind/ spirit?

What comes up for me when I explore my sensation?

What is my relationship to those around me?

We can process your life and your lived experiences, together.
